No where to run-No where to hide

I'm not intimidated by Georgia. They played a near perfect defensive game and we layed an egg with uncharacteristically poor QB play
and withering crowd noise causing endless penalties that destroyed tempo and continuity on offense. Still, we had our shots, but missed them all.

I'm not ashamed to say that I'd rather not have to face UGA again this season, but if it's for a natty, you certainly step up and give it your best effort. They're just a bad, bad matchup for us.

I think the only thing different if we were to play UGA on a neutral field would be a few less false start penalties. I think the outcome would be the same. We would still lose.

You think one thing didn't have anything to do with the other? They had players who could cover our receivers one on one 90 plus percent of the time. We haven't seen that earlier in the year. The windows for success were alot smaller and the opportunities fewer. Sure it helped them to be at home, it helped us against Florida and Bama, but this game wasn't as close as those two. Most teams don't have corners like Ringo who are built like linebackers who can go toe to toe with Tillman physically. We can beat them if we get another shot but we are going to have to take advantage of every possible opportunity and probably hope for some mistakes because they are better on both lines of scrimmage and overcoming that is always a tough ask.

You may be correct about them being a bad matchup. Their tackling was flawless and they dialed up the right coverages. I'm not sure they could repeat that. I also feel like we choked under the crowd noise and disruptive penalties. Offense was all out of synch.

Yes but we left some things on the table too

We did, so did they. You just have fewer opportunities against a good defense and that magnifies the significance of your misses. The pressure also starts affecting throws with any QB no matter how good.
Yeah the pressure got to us.Might have been better to have a safety than to have punt out of your own end zone and give them 7 any way.

Dominated in the trenches. Physically whooped in every facet of the game.

I don’t think those were accidental.

If it means we get into the playoff, I’d welcome a rematch.

Not saying we’d for sure beat them, but it’d be much more of a game if a rematch does happen. Fingers crossed

You're not intimidated, but the players were. Particularly the qb. Maybe you have some eligibility left. Can you throw the deep fade.. ?

Some GA A Hole asked me this AM if I was ashamed to wear my Vols hat. Thankfully my Gamecock buddy pushed me out the door. THAT Dawg would have been the one with no where to hide. I only have TN Vols hats and have worn them everywhere, around the world. Ill never be ashamed and I've never been more proud.

Good lord Georgia isn’t invincible. They can be beat just like any team can on any given Saturday.

Is it just me, r did anyone else see the punkness in the GA players? A couple of shoves or slaps by UGA players after the whistle, then they’d just go boneless and collapse to the ground for f the UT player provided any resistance. Kirby has always been punkish.
