I know its early, but this is going to be hard to beat IMO. . .

Junior Forward Kenny Hall

"The one thing that Tennessee always does is kick the **** outa Vanderbilt."

I think we can have separate winners for football and basketball, but this quote is tempered by the fact that the next week, we lost to UK. . .

Well, we would like to play Steven Garcia, but he's made some bad decisions off the field lately. If we can get him to concentrate on football instead of acting stupid, we might get there.

Some people don't see screaming as essential to winning, I get it. To each his own. But I was at the game, and I witnessed "the scream" after he blocked the shot. . .it was one of those season defining hollers and definitely worth a thread of its own.

When a friend of mine found a dead doe in the front seat of his work van (sitting upright), he asked me if I knew who might have put it there? My response,

"I have a good I'deer"!

If I'd had duct tape, Its front legs would have been wrapped to the steering wheel!

Kenny Hall's energy was the reason they won that game last night. It was good to see someone play with some energy in that game. He certainly did that. My guess is that he does not have good stamina because he seems to play well in short bursts then disappears or goes to the bench but at least he did have energy last night. I don't have problem with the screaming if he actually does something to warrant it and if it gives the rest of the team some energy.
