Just 2 years ago, our men's indoor T&F team was ranked 49th nationally and our women 66th.

But in the new rankings released today, our men are 2nd and our women 7th! What an amazing comeback in such a short time.

That is great news. I enjoyed going to the track and field meets while in college and it was sad to see how far the programs sank. Great to see both programs back where they belong.

Outstanding. I spent a lot of time at Tom Black Track back during the glory days, this is great news!

Did they take a dump right before the sec championships? I have been watching them for the last 30 min and not one event has had a UT athlete in it. And when the have shown the team standings we were not in the top 6 for men or women

Bump. Awesome turnout at the NCAA Tournament. The men placed 3rd and the women in 7th. The men were only 5 points behind Arkansas who has 20 National Championships in Track and Field. Oregon was 1st, which makes it a three-peat for them.

There were two athletes that were National Champions in their event. (Christian Coleman and Felicia Brown who both won the 200m title) It was the first time in NCAA history one school has one both the mens and womens 200m event in the same year.
