This thread should win…hmmm…. A banner! It wins, hands down, the championship for most repetitive ever.
For me there are three takeaways:
1. Reese is a fine player.
2. Clark is a fine player.
3. DarcFeenicks doesn't spell particularly well.
Warm regards to all.
You have to be a child, or you haven't grown up as an adult. I could do the Angel Reeks.....but I am adult who doesn't go the childish route. I would even say you have an argument for some of those facts about Reeves. Like I said....your opinion is only that....your opinion. The professionals who voted Caitlin Clark the rookie MVP are the ones that count. Your argument that she won a national championship is moot. Caitlin went to the final game twice and eliminate Reeves in the second one before the finals game. Your petulant child behavior does nothing to change anyone's mind including the WNBA. Clark was the best....end of story.Paige played Power Forward so why not Klark?

Last reply to this because I’m done, Reese doesn’t care about regular season awards because they’re rigged anyway, they never seem to give it to her even if her numbers are way better than anyone else, go look at her 2023 season and see for yourself. Yes they loos in the elite 8 because Reese came into the game with a sprained ankle and Kaitlin Cox pushed off (Which is her patented move) and she hurt it even further. But whatever she’s already a Champion and that’s all that matters. No need to reply because I’m ready to move on this the college season. You have to be a child, or you haven't grown up as an adult. Mulkey still hasn’t broken through in the sec. Good chance she never will.Girl, like Kim Mulkey and LSU don’t exist? Rags to riches.
Edit, also Kim at Baylor. Two of the biggest turnarounds in WBB history. Took Baylor from 7-20 to 20-9 in one season and won a natty in year 5.
Dawn didn’t even break through in the SEC until year 6.
Idk if mulkey will ever win the SEC or how much longer she will coach given some health issues. SC has been definitely the most dominant program in the country the last 7-8 years by far but Mulkey turning LSU around and making them as competitive as they are and winning a ship in such a short time period is very impressive and nothing to down play. Even if they didn’t win the SEC that year.Mulkey still hasn’t broken through in the sec. Good chance she never will.

She has only been there for 3 seasons. Took a team with a losing record to 2nd round, then a national title and then an elite 8. I still don’t think she has created rosters as stacked as a whole like she had at Baylor during her later years (2015-2021 but it took mulkey a while to get to those type of rosters) but they are highly competitive none the less and will def be in the mix annually until she retires.
It’ll be interesting how much the addition of OU and Texas changes the dynamics in the SEC wbb wise. It’ll definitely be more competitive, and then you add in Kenny brook’s addition to Kentucky. Should make for an exciting conference for the forseable future

Honestly? As an old, white, perceived-to-be homophobic, bombastically pushy close-talker, I think Kim Mulkey is a harder sell among today’s recruits than is Dawn Staley. Kim is definitely not for everyone! But then, neither is Dawn. Or Kim Caldwell. Pat Summitt definitely wasn’t.Idk if mulkey will ever win the SEC or how much longer she will coach given some health issues. she hasn't beaten South Carolina at LSU and I'm not sure she's going to beat Texas but will be fun to see how it goes.
but the soft schedule will table these questions until January or February
I don’t see OU impacting the SEC. Beers was a big pickup but she’s slow as molasses and still overweight. This isn’t the PAC-12, the SEC moves at a different speed. She’s gonna be sucking air 5 minutes in and she’s their only go to player.
Vann is a nice player but likes to operate from the FT line in and at a slight 6’ she will be ineffective in the SEC. She was only 28% from 3 last season. Unless she’s improved that to around 40% magically she’s going to have a hard time scoring.
Verhulst has the same issue as Beers, nice player but slooowwwww. Big 12 was the right speed for her, she couldn’t keep up in the ACC at Louisville and won’t be able to in the SEC.
