Okay. It’s still dumb.Just a little trivia...
"Dropping the anchor: The Vanderbilt Anchor was adopted in 2004 as a symbol of unity and strength and accompanies the team to all home and away games. Before each home game, a group or individual is selected to “drop the anchor” at midfield to mark the beginning of the evening's events."
Unfortunately it doesn't look like any will be available for regular cable or streaming viewing. All on pricey aps.
I want so much for both LSU and Kentucky to lose today. That's unlikely to happen, but I sure want it to.
I did indeed misread that. Thanks. I still disagree with her "in game" assessment.I think you misunderstood Lucy’s post. She was complimenting her development (she said “coaching up”) of players and her recruiting. She indicated she thought those were strengths for Dawn, but perceives her in-game coaching to be less strong.
I still am not sure if Coach Jack will be ousted by the university (because they don’t really seem to care about WBB), but at this point I wouldn’t be shocked if she just decides to leave.Wow. Syracuse just took a 30-pt beating by Creighton. Coach Jack may not even make it to the end of the season.
Perhaps the best way to say that is - compared to her recruiting and coaching up of individual players, her in game coaching is weaker.
Not picking a fight! Happy Thanksgiving!
In 2023 Dawn had 5 players drafted....the rest of the SEC teams combined had 4. Don't even try to tell me about player development. You seem somewhat clueless.
Molly Miller starting to get things rolling at GCU now. They have a loss to MTSU and Oregon which are both respectable for that level program.
Really nice 79-50 win over Liberty today. Had a player with 21pts and 16ast.
Utah would do well to approach her I think. Different style than what Roberts ran but a very quality young coach.
Too late on the Utah job. It's been filled. Molly will get her shot somewhere before too long.
'A great fit': Gavin Petersen introduced as new head coach of Utah women's basketball
Gavin Petersen wasn't a passive member of the coaching staff; he was an active participant in what Lynne Roberts and her staff built at Utah.www.ksl.com
