As I suspected, OU still has ZERO defense.

Their offense can be a thing of beauty but they gave up 27 points to a poor offensive Duke team in the first quarter. Almost all of the looks for Duke were easy, right at the rim looks. OU can’t keep anyone in front and they don’t make the ball handler uncomfortable at all.

They got a couple back door looks against the Duke pressure to start the game but once Duke adjusted it got much tougher.

You called it. I literally just pulled up the game and had to double check to make sure I was watching the right one.

My least favorite official calling the Duke/OU game and she is awful as usual. Phantom calls underneath. No call when a Duke player got murdered on a moving screen.

Just created a 6 point run for OU with bad officiating.

And then a technical on Duke for saying who knows what after 3 bad calls in 30 seconds. Don’t blame the player tbh. Hard to watch officials control the game instead of the players.

Cameron Inouye has ruined more games that I could possibly count in my time as a WBB fan.

Skylar Vann is the reigning co-Big 12 player of the year and she is going to look totally pedestrian in the SEC.

Beers camps in the lane like crazy. They called two 3 seconds on her in the first half. She’s done it about 5 times in the second half with no call. I’d tell my players to count out loud every possession.

They seem to find a way to fold in the final minute or three of a close game. A boneheaded turnover here, a dumb foul there. I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. Especially not on a neutral court.

Facts. I watched Mia and Mya Pauldo beat most of these posters favorite underclassmen players at P4 schools (SEC, ACC, etc.) in their sophomore and junior seasons of hs.

Molly Miller starting to get things rolling at GCU now. They have a loss to MTSU and Oregon which are both respectable for that level program.

Really nice 79-50 win over Liberty today. Had a player with 21pts and 16ast.

Utah would do well to approach her I think. Different style than what Roberts ran but a very quality young coach.

She was on my short list last spring.

Her in game coaching was weak enough to finally lose a game after winning 43 straight. It's like me telling my daughter her straight A's could have been better. Results are everything in sports.

Contrary to what you SC fans think Dawn does not walk on water. She is not the best coach in the country in every single facet of the game. Is it possible that her top notch recruiting etc. covers for her less than stellar game management? I would say possible and probable.
Also, since you came flying in on monkey wings the statue of a 20 something is ridiculous and the make believe banner a joke.

Overtime for Duke and OU.

Still think Duke gonna give it away. Truly this game was decided by the official when they gave OU a 9 point run off several horrendous calls in a row and a bogus technical.

OU giving up 100 points to Duke is laughable. Truly a terrible defensive team.

They have a couple players that can fill it up offensively but that is it.

Not that impressed with Beers either. Duke has nobody that can match up with her on the glass and she only has 6 boards. Has looked gassed most of the game and just lumbers around out there and camps in the paint.

Oklahoma is/was overrated from Day 1. Point blank. I haven’t seen anything that justified that team ever being ranked in the Top 10.
It’s literally the same group I watched get beat last season by a Tennessee team without its best player.
OU plays the same way as last season.
Games like this between Duke and Oklahoma prove once again why this was a home run hire by DW to bring in Coach Caldwell!

So how about Duke letting this "mediocre" OK team score 99? Any soul searching to do there?

I guess I'm simple. I thought both games were very entertaining and all four teams at least decent in early games.

And thankfully, someone threw up a link to Flo Hoops on twitter and I was able to watch Duke/OU.

you might be a tad harsh on OK, I think they will have a great season. Duke will also have a great season tbh, two nice looking teams.
