I was rooting for y’all ! They just seemed out of sorts i remember saying at the beginning of the year this team was truly gonna miss Harris and Kiki. Harris would of gotten them settled and KiKi wouldn’t have allowed them to be bullied.

Yep, that’s what I said to myself tonight. DV sure sounds depressed. Others might mistake his posts for glee but really just a pathetic cry of sadness. Just like when LVs win he retreats to stony silent joy.

I still think this season, SC is a better team. They played poorly and still had a chance (4 of them to be exact) to win in regulation on the last possession. They would have won if not for an ungodly performance from Bueckers.

Katie Lou Samuelson, too.

They were a true center away from a NC, imo. That was a strong roster, but as good as Gabby Williams was, she was a 5'11 center that had no answer against teams with elite size.

I find Dawn refreshing with her honesty. I didn't realize teams played with different brand basketballs. Is that common? Is it really a big deal? How did I not know this?

So far Williams, Nurse and Dangerfield have not really overwhelmed in the WNBA. Basically it turns out they are just good but not great players.

Wasn't Dangerfield the ROY? She looked pretty darn good to me. Nurse wasn't great last year, but she was pretty good the year before. WIlliams just doesn't have the right skillset for the WNBA. Great college player, but she's constantly exploited in the post by bigger stronger players and doesn't have the consistent outside shot to play on the perimeter.

Yes we absolutely miss them but we could’ve won this game by 10 plus points. We had 0(!!!!!) fast break points and had a point in the second quater where we had three layup fast break attempts and missed all. We lack fundamentals and while they play tough defense these girls are too nice. I think Dawn may be a little too “chill” will them. UConn girls screaming in their faces, cursing after getting blocks, standing over them, etc. is where we miss KiKi. She would’ve turned into a offensive monster 😂 . We don’t have that this year yet and maybe never will.

Lol she’s said Zia had a rough night using Nike balls because it’s hard to get adjusted. It is what it is the team needs to practice layups and free throws. That’s the deference between winning by 10 vs losing at the buzzer when Bueckers has the ball.

Could you imagine the outrage here if Geno blamed their loss in SC last year on Wilson brand balls?!

Just based on contracts, the number of teams who use Nike balls far surpasses the number of teams who use any other brand. Maybe it’ll give TN the edge when SC comes to TBA and Dawn can cry about it again.

I admire the program Dawn has built at SC, but this is a bad, bad look.

She is still hurt and that is why she did not get much playing time. It was obvious in the game against Marquette.
