@Amb3096 she put it on her shoes
Does this post make you feel lonely?I sure get tired of people whining about referees --- nobody is perfect, no one, that is the way of the world ---- what I hate most is when a TV/radio announcer decides to not only call the play-by-play (as if they ever do that anymore) but also wants to give an ongoing critique of the refs from her or his seat yards farther away from the action than the refs themselves --- frankly, if anyone thinks he or she can do a better job of refereeing, then sign up for the job -- referees are always needed
No disrespect to her, but I still can’t believe she was the SEC player of the year. She didn’t have a great year.
I find her to be overly dramatic, but...20.4 ppg on 45% shooting, 7.3 rpg, and 3.6 apg are impressive numbers. Her scoring went down by 3 points, but her FG%, rebounding and assists all went up. Any coach would be more than happy with her output.
I think arguments could have been made for all three (and Aliyah Boston too, for that matter). But as historically has been the case, the award was Rhyne's to lose since she won last year and was the preseason pick to win it this year. Based on what she produced, I don't think there was much of an argument to knock her from her perch.I still think Dungee and Re could of as easily been the SEC player of the year. But she is a talent for sure !

Speaking of Dungee, I wonder if the bitterness from yesterday's game causes her to rethink coming back next year? If some of the seniors decide to come back next year with Jersey joining, they could be one of the SEC favorites.
Not really sure why Arkansas seniors would come back for another rinse and repeat season. They don't match up well with any SEC team, really. The style Neighbors has come up with doesn't work well in the SEC. When you have no size or rebounding, you're just not going to consistently win in this league.I think arguments could have been made for all three (and Aliyah Boston too, for that matter). Must have burned Neighbors to see Dauda decide to go to Baylor instead of staying in-state. Pairing her with Jersey would have been a great foundation to build on.Yeah not having any serviceable rebounders really put them at a deficit in the SEC. If they had just one big girl who could rebound they would have been almost unbeatable with their guard play. Didn’t even need a big to score, just for defense and rebounding.
I agree, but tell this to Geno. Arky is only team to beat UConn this year. Not really sure why Arkansas seniors would come back for another rinse and repeat season.
