She might prove me wrong but I truly think Coach Mox at Mo. State is headed for trouble after this season. She loses the majority of Kellie’s players and doesn’t have much coming in. Unless she pulls some big fish out of the portal they are back to a .500 team. She’s losing all of her size and brining in 3 guards.

Watching them they do a lot of the same things defensively that they were doing before. A lot of the same things I saw our players starting to do this year. Mo State still executes better defensively than we did this year. Hopefully we improve even more next season. Kellie had them trained up and they were a young team when she left. Props to coach Mox for keeping them all together, but I don’t think this success belongs strictly to her.

Iowa State and Texas A&M going to overtime. Iowa St had A&M on the rope with a chance to win in regulation, but no fouls were called. Wow.

Damn TAMU was dead in the water , but somehow they are in OT. IMO, they should have gotten the FTs and the ball with the jump ball and swinging elbows.

I actually thought Iowa State was the beneficiary of the officiating over the game as a whole. They got a bunch of and 1 calls with what I would consider minimal contact. Especially in the first half.

Funny how we can all watch the same game and take such different things away from it.

Texas is playing more like a Vic Schaefer team in the tournament. Much more aggressive toward the rim from their perimeter players and absolute lockdown, pressure D in the halfcourt right now.

Scary moment. Audrey Warren just got knocked TF out by Onyenwere’s shoulder. Should have been an offensive without a doubt. Twice she took a hit to the head tonight and she’s been out with concussion protocol already. Absolutely not playing the rest of this tournament.

Texas defense absolutely SMOTHERING in the first half. Best I’ve seen them play all season. Collier was able to just chill most of the time. Stroked a beautiful step back quick release 3.

Onyenwere lost her edge after Warren’s injury. It really rattled her. I feel bad for her, it was physical, but not intentional. You could tell she was really shaken. Got really hesitant to take it to the basket. Turned into a jump shooter and that’s definitely not where she’s strongest.

Really do not think Warren should be back out there. She was absolutely unconscious for a moment. Very dangerous for her to take another hit to the head at this point.

Charli Collier 1-2 shooting for the entire game with 8 minutes to go. Just don't understand how this is the #1 WNBA draft pick. I see why NY traded away #1...

Only saw the final minutes and overtime of Iowa St-A&M game, so wondered how officiating went throughout. Def. looked lije Joens got fouled repeatedly both at end of reg. and OT. Also looked like Nixon could have been called for a charge on winning basket although contact was minimal. Then again, the swinging elbow could have been called intentional on State. Tough way to lose.

A&M has escaped losing to lower seeds twice. Playing on borrowed time.

Agreed. She seems easy to shut down. Can't see her being an WNBA impact player.
