You can pressure in the matchup zone just like the man to man. It is always one player playing man on the player with the ball and the other four zoning and it switches as the ball moves. We played it yesterday in the second half quite a bit and it really stopped both the drive to the basket and still enough pressure on the perimeter shot.

Dawn subs out Saxton for Cardosa, and shifts Boston to guard Reese

Reese: "I've made a huge mistake..."

I do have to credit Reese. She took that ass whooping in the chin like a champ.

Not sure what Angel's done to earn everyone's wrath, other than some comical trash talk and OTT celebrations. Seems her teammates and coaches love playing with her, and she's always extending a hand to help opponents up off the court. I've always said that the way to shut Angel up was to not give her anything to celebrate, and SC did just that with no protest from Reese.

Truthfully, I was expecting there to be a bit of an LSU meltdown given how Reese/Morris play with their emotions on their sleeves at all times. They did what they could, but were outgunned.

Eh, it was only 4 words but I digress!

It’s just a different view than how I view her celebration and emotions. Monday aside, the poster seems to really like to make it seems as if Angel is a bad person because of how she plays basketball, seems to be a demographic thing when it comes to the differing voices on how she’s viewed because of it.

I couldn’t stand Sophie due to some of her behavior. But she wasn’t our Sophie either. Jordan and Rickea got some fire and it doesn’t bother me at all! 😉

Drawing conclusions about my motivations based on your guess at my demographics is profiling. And its always wrong.

There's a million miles of ground btw "shut up and dribble" and all its political connotations, and piling up multiple technicals for directly taunting other players. I have no opinion on what kind of person Angel or any player is; I try never to personalize as I find that kind of icky. Only about what I see on the court. It's not personal, not ethic or any of the rest.

But I do realize those like me who criticize the behavior are part of the show; she needs that in order to turn herself into the wronged party. So go for it Angel! Rub your "passion" all up in the other players faces. All about you!!!

See, it’s the ending that gets me, why do you think that’s how she feels, that it’s all about her, just cause she showboats, or taunts, or trash talks?
