Congrats to Ole Miss! They were SO close in some big games this season, and they finally pulled one out in the biggest moment. They probably shoulda been a 7 seed. Though then again maybe Stanford shoulda been a 2.

Can't imagine what ESPN's Bilas and Davis would say about Ole Miss' physical style of play... kudos to the refs in that game at Stanford to not cave in to all the pressure.

Just an aside. When the seeds for the tournament came out, Crème said Tennessee “groused” that the SEC was not so weak this year, so with the seed we got, we could not complain. Obviously, our grousing was correct!

It should be said that winning AT Stanford is extremely impressive no matter what time of the season it is, but to beat them there in the post-season is nothing short of amazing.

All of our teams in the SEC played really well so far. So many of them were low seeds, but no one has lost to a lower seed and everyone has played the higher seed very closely with great defense. All those 10-25 point wins we had in the SEC this year should serve us well. So sad for all the naysayers here about the SEC and the LVs !

LOL, the same Charlie Creme who spent the first half of the Tennessee-LSU SECT game talking about how the matchup between LSU and South Carolina would be huge, and that LSU winning that game against South Carolina was "keeping him up at night"? I think he spent a good three or four minutes discussing all the possible seeding implications of that LSU-South Carolina game. Yeah. Real crackerjack professional, that one.
