Iowa is an extremely dangerous basketball team. They will definitely challenge SC or Maryland in the final 4.

The last time that Iowa won an Elite 8 game was on their home floor against Tennessee in 1993. Even though Tennessee was the #1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament that year, we still had to play a regional final on an opponent's home court. Iowa got every call imaginable in that game, including a charge against Tiffany Woosley, which would lead to a rare Pat Summitt technical foul call.

Here was a problem for the Cards at one point they Carr 5-5 Robinson 5-7 Van-Lith 5-7 in the game. At times 6-1 Warnock was posting Van-Lith up in the lane.

Iowa fell behind Louisville to start yesterday's game by 8-0. Then Iowa goes on to score 97 points and had a 20 point (or so) lead
after 3 quarters. Clark's scoreline: 41 points, 12 assists, 10 rebounds, 3 steals. Good grief. She also had 9 turnovers--but hey, Iowa fans forgive her!

I would probably advise Horston to go not going to get much higher than the number three draft choice by staying. Of course if she is making a lot more money at Tennessee take the money she will still be a high draft choice. She is in a guaranteed money position in the draft this season it appears.

Even as a top draft pick, the money is not all that much. I don't think these are money decisions, more life decisions.

Then I would choose Tennessee never going to have it that good again. Much more demanding to play in the WNBA and your likely mostly playing just a few minutes per game your first season. One more season isn't going to make that much of a difference if you like being at Tennessee. I don't know how much Jordan is making here know according to on3 Rickea is raking it in and Tamari was doing really well before the illness sure that didn't change things much.

Earl is the authority on this, so he'll correct me if I'm wrong. One thing I've learned about the collective lately is that the student/athlete has to work to build that relationship. Rickea and TK particularly have been willing to do that to a larger extent than others. Jordy probably has her deals, sure hope so, but it doesn't appear to be a priority for her.

While hot blooded heterosexual young males are probably the biggest driver for NIL success, there are still other markets that can be tapped into. An example is Flaujae Johnson, who doesn't need to be "conventionally girly" to have a big social media following because of her other talents. It's all about finding a brand and exploiting it.

No defense from Louisville and what really hurt them they did not switch or the ball screens, lot's breakdowns and there coach talked about that after the game. No rebounding by Louisville only 32 and 9 offensive Iowa no better 33 and 6 offensive. Iowa 6-3 Czinano only 5 rbs

I honestly don't know what Lousiville could have done. They could have defended the outside shooters, but then Czinano would have had 25 points. Looks like their defensive scheme was to guard Clark as best they can, shut down Monika and hope the role players don't light it up. They only succeded in 1 out of 3. Not sure there's more they could have done with the personnel on their team. Like you said, they are too small on the perimeter to be able to guard shooters like that.
