Baylor(KWTX) By Joe Ashley and Royden Ogletree Published: Dec. 13, 2024 at 6:17 PM EST
WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Baylor University confirmed Friday that two Baylor women’s basketball staff members are no longer with the program.
Baylor confirmed the staff members were Kianna Ray and Sadie Edwards.
Baylor said they decision was made earlier this week, but did not give an exact time or reason as to why they are no longer with the program.
Edwards was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator, while Ray was the director of recruiting and player influence.
Both had been with the team since July 2023.
Iowa at Mich St will be a close game could go either way. I expect NC St to handle Louisville.Iowa vs Mich St at 12 on Big 10 net. Louisville and NC State at 1 on ABC. Other than that, we're still in kind of a blowout desert. 2 more weeks and the real season can start.
I'd like to thank Notre Dame, So Car, and UConn for playing a good OOC sched. If not for them, the Haloween to Christmas window would have been even more brutal. I blame Mulkey. Since she won the natty w a laughable sched it's been down, down, down.
UConn and SC are projected to have the number one and two schedules. Notre Dame projected number 24 which is not as good as ours projected number 13.Iowa vs Mich St at 12 on Big 10 net. You're like a dog with a bone. Give it a rest. We all know you don't like the schedule, but does EVERY comment have to be saturated in that disdain? My goodness!Iowa vs Mich St at 12 on Big 10 net. It's more about college athletics in general. It was probably inevitable, but across the board we're being asked to pay more and more for tickets, parking, plus to pay the athletes. And getting worse games. The amount a football season ticket holder is asked to pay for at least a third of the home sched to be Austin Peay and Kent St level is gobsmacking IMO.You're like a dog with a bone. Give it a rest. Feels to me like the cupcake menu has gotten progressively worse over the years. Use to be a few of the cakes were epically awful but not near as many as now. Deer Park explained there's a scramble for cupcake games bc of limits on teams' ability to travel preseason. You have to schedule the worst team within a bus ride. And the truth is give or take 1 to 2 games from the non-conference schedule last year and this year there’s not much of a difference.
Indiana, MTSU, Florida State, Notre Dame (without Miles), Oklahoma, and Ohio State.
Florida State, Iowa, MTSU, Richmond, and Connecticut.

I still blame Kim Mulkey though. Once she won the natty with a preseasonm sched full of embarrassments, the old chestnut that these games get you ready for March was history. Most espe in a conf as tough as the SEC.
Iowa by five need them to win get that game back to a quad one dropped just out when they dropped to 37 in the Net. This game should move back inside 35 to get our quad one win back.
When your in the SEC you have to schedule fairly light in the post season. UConn has the Big East so they always need to schedule stronger out of league.Truly though, the SEC has evolved a lot. When Pat was scheduling for March the SEC wasn’t nearly what it is today. Georgia and LSU (under Chapman) were always good for a game and that was about it. Sometimes Kentucky or Auburn would have a good season. Ole Miss had a couple with Price but it was hit or miss. Otherwise it was pretty likely we were comfortably running the table every season.
The level of coaching has improved so much in the last decade it is a much more competitive league. It was always an athletic league but there weren’t the coaches there are today getting it out them.
