I'm pretty sure Arizona easily has the #1 class but it'll be top 5So Kim now will most likely have the #1 Class for 2023 after one year of not winning nothing lol goes to show you that LSU spending the money for Kim is paying off at least with recruits which is where everything starts..

The thing is, we have never seen that with her Baylor teams. What makes you think that will happen with LSU? She is clearly one of the best coaches in the game right now. Her winning percentage continues to compare to Gino and Tara even at LSU. Heck, LSU got to the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2015 last under a 1st year coach. That in itself is a huge achievement. Now she probably has the #1 recruiting class of 2023.I expect a mass exodus from LSU over the next year or so. It’s clearly a toxic program Kim runs and things are going downhill there.
I predict most of their 23 class if not all will be in the portal by the end of the year 2. Mikaylah Williams especially will leave for greener pastures
Agree, Kim has that big personality and knows how to use it.It does seem NIL deals are playing a role in their recruiting success, but Kim is also an elite coach in her own right. Kim being able to recruit well didn’t just start when she got to LSU and NIL became a factor.
Who are “they”?They are pouring cash on her but that cash will crash

You don't choose to play in a power 5 conference you're put there and to win the big 12 as many years as they did in a row (11), not to mention 3 National titles since 2005, a final four, 5 elite 8s, and 4 sweet 16s. That winning percentage is also against the best of the best in the NCAA year in and year out. To be honest, probably only Gino has out coached her. 187 - 9 record in the big 12 since 2010-2021? That is a crazy win-loss record.Playing the opponents she has decided to play YOU could have the same winning percentage as Geno and Tara...

Kim was a problem for South Carolina Last year, barely losing and she beat us on our home court.
We could say the same for South Carolina this year with one of the most stacked teams in the nation, but it isn't about what you do in your preseason, it is about consistently making a run in the Tournament. 3 National titles since 2005, a final four, 5 elite 8s, and 4 sweet 16s. That is in todays game, not the years of possibly 1 or 2 teams being there at the end. Numbers don't lie. 187-9 in your league says something is being done consistently at a high level by the coaching staff. I don't care what league you're in, that is hard do that many years in a row. That falls to the head coach. 1 year removed from Baylor and now Baylor is picked to finish 3rd after 12 straight titles. What is the difference there now?Anyone can have a crazy winning percentage when you’re playing Mississippi Valley State Community College. Not saying she’s isn’t a good coach because she’s earned those natty’s but you’re talking her up like she’s the next coming or something. I think LSU will be very good in the future but the SEC ain’t the Big 12 and it’s competition all over. Her schedule this year is absolutely pitiful and it was at Baylor as well. Why is she playing so many cupcakes on a yearly basis? Can you answer that for me?
We lost by 3 points, but we were playing with a big handicap. We were without Marta, Green, and Horston, due to injuries. Rae was back, but was not totally well, and shot 22% in the game. Of the 9 players who played for Tennessee, 4 were Freshmen.Kim was a problem for South Carolina Last year, barely losing and she beat us on our home court.
I think Angel Reese and Ladazhia Williams are major upgrades over Aifuwa/Newby but a team glued together by a bunch of players who never played with each other is going to lead for some pains. Payne isn't even very good. They will be pretty strong in SEC play but still behind TN and SC.That’s because she had players who actually had experience not only playing in the SEC but against those teams for years. This year only Alexis Morris and Ryan Payne will truly have that experience so we’ll see how it plays out. You counting your LVs out? Seems like it to me.
I am sure not, but I do think they will be the toughest matchup in the league. I don't think south Carolina with the loss of Destiny Henderson is near the caliber that they were a year ago. Teams that pressure the guards they have for 40 minutes have a good chance to win. I say the SEC goes to Tennessee this year, with LSU second and South Carolina third. That’s because she had players who actually had experience not only playing in the SEC but against those teams for years. Yes, that was an ugly game, although we gave ourselves a chance to win down the stretch. Just didn't have enough time left.........We lost by 3 points, but we were playing with a big handicap. Absolutely agree on this was saying this earlier south carolina was a horrible perimeter shooting team last year even with cooke n henderson im wondering were the perimeter scoring is going to come from besides cooke were is the spacing in the offense, they struggled to score in the tournament its not gone be a cakewalk people think its goin to be for themI am sure not, but I do think they will be the toughest matchup in the league. Mulkey has been in the conference 5 minutes and she's already kicking Kellie's rear-end on and off the court.
Kellie better make her run this season, she appears destined to recruit for third place from here on out...
