Does anyone know yet which if any of the 2008 signees didn't qualify?

I know there was concern about Hughes, Thomas, and Walls.

I really hope Walls can qualify in time for summer. With the limited depth at LB, I think he could be a contributor.

Limited depth at linebacker? That might be the deepest posistion on the team...

Thats why I said might...and not It is the deepest on the team...either way, there is no shortage of depth at LB

Deepest position on the team? Have you looked at the depth chart? Behind Wilson, our MLB situation is horrible. If Elix goes down at some point this season, we are in trouble there.

We have numbers just no proven depth. I think Reveiz is a capable backup. Hes no Al Wilson but he can get the job done and make plays when he needs to. As long as Gerald Williams makes it in, he will challenge for the MLB spot immediately. The OLB spots are what worry me. Mccoy or Mckenzie go down and we have serious lack of experience there. Lamarcus Thompson will be good but we do need Walls to get in because I think he will get some early reps at olb.

Chris Donald last I saw was moved to MLB but is behind Reveiz on the depth chart right now.

Saivon Frazier will be ok, Herman Lathers will get alot of looks this year too, the coaches love him.

Frazier will be a very solid back up and you for got Myers-White.

I've liked Frazier ever since I first read about him. The prototypical UT "find". He played all over the field in HS so ended up a 3* though he had great upside.

I believe G Wms will contribute somewhere. MLB would be excellent... but anywhere will be great.
