Non SEC teams you would like the Vols to play....

Since a thread pops up like this a couple of times a year in the football forum lets do a basketball addition. So what 5 or 10 teams would/do you like to see the Vols play?

Carolina
College of Charleston
Texas
ETSU
Georgia Tech
Memphis

USC - X bowl
UNC - redemption x2
FSU - rematch of 1st BCS championship game
Notre Dame

Id like a road game at Colorado to see Charlie the Buffalo trot out on the field.
Id also like to make a visit to College station to see Vols play Texas A&M.
I know we got hammered by Virginia Tech but still wanna see bristol pull off that 150,000 fan raceway game.
I would also like to see how we faired on the Smurf turf at Boise St.

i would like to see charlie come running out on a basketball court, also. i also would love to see 150,000 fans watch a basketball game at b i r. these things would be something to see !! :pepper::yes: :yes::pepper: :eek:lol: :eek:lol: :eek:lol:

I hope that you mean E.T.S.U. as in East Texas State University because East Tennessee does not have a football team.

To notice that would require people to actually pay attention and read before posting ridiculous things. A rarity on Volnation.

Let me see now...UNC, Butler, Kansas, UConn, Villanova, VCU, Pitt, Marquette, Texas, West Virginia, Ohio State... WAIT A MINUTE, we HAVE played all of these guys during these past 6 years of Pearl's tenure!

One thing that helped elevate our program under Pearl was his willingness to play one of the toughest nonconference schedules in the nation every year. I know we will likely be going through some tough times early with Martin, but hopefully, he will build us up in short order and we can continue to play these marquee matchups that have spoilt us over the past 6 years.

Just a dream, but a home and home with my Ohio Bobcats. Would be cool to see the Orange up here.

And then see Miami (OH) in TBA.
