Chow just got caught up in the wash as Neuheisel tries to save his job. From what I've heard/read he's just a horrible interview and that's why he's never gotten a big time head coaching job.

Maybe he could get some tips from Fulmer on how to interview

Well, that, and the fact that he hasn't led a productive offense in nearly 7 years.

Most overrated coordinator in America.

Well, that, and the fact that he hasn't led a productive offense in nearly 7 years.

Aside from his lack of interviewing skills, why do you think he is over rated? His credentials include three national titles (BYU, 1984; USC 2003 and 2004), tutoring three Heisman Trophy winners (Ty Detmer, Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart), participating in 27 bowl games and three times being named National Assistant Coach of the Year... not too shabby!!! Do you just think he's just past his prime?

In 23 seasons as an offensive coordinator, Chow coached 8 of the top 14 career passing-efficiency leaders, and 13 quarterbacks who rank among the top 30 in NCAA history for single-season passing yardage. His list of pupils includes Steve Young, Philip Rivers, and Robbie Bosco, as well as Heisman Trophy winners Ty Detmer, Carson Palmer, and Matt Leinart.

Chow reminds me a lot of Stevie Spurrier.

Two of the most innovative offensive coaches ever. The only problem is every one else copied them, and they're all out of innovation.

he's a guy who has no desire to recruit anymore and just wants to call the offense. not surprising he's not doing well.
