a high school, not a NCAA school but it is funny

Sometimes, even a well-intentioned coach’s effort to fire up his players with a bit of rivalry can land him in hot water.

Thoughtful of Yahoo! to helpfully black out the initials.

Lol can't believe he got suspended over that. It's just initials, and I thought it was pretty funny/clever.

Another example of the wussification of this country.

Your plan is working LG!

Is it really surprising that some liberal pantywaist in the school system was offended by this?

I bet special counseling is being set up for the poor children who has to view such offensive comments

I think the worst part is the people already trying to make this political in this thread. Left wing is wussifying the nation, but the right wingers are offended by the language because its an affront to god.

Leave it out of the sports.

What a complete joke. Guy was trying to instill some values in these kids, something a lot of kids are missing these days.

When I played the coaches used far worse language on the field...

I know just a few years ago they did with me, and that whole staff is still there, so at least our high school kids are getting cussed at.

My father said when he played (late 60's early 70's) that if you didn't get tobacco juice spit in your face then the coach was just talking to you. Strange enough, both coaches (his and mine) won their fair share of games. I've honestly not met a good coach, or even a really good teacher on the college level, who doesn't swear.

This is on the pro level, but I always thought Tony Dungy was too nice of a guy to win it all, but he proved me and a lot of other people wrong. Supposedly, he never cussed and still got his point across. Or maybe he had his assts do it for him.
