ND just tied it up 7-7 to go into half…

Lol. If Nebraska loses this one to lowly North Dakota…does Frost get immediately fired?

How can they not? That program may never recover if they don't do something different like - now . I would have never in a million years guessed they'd be this putrid under Frost. Impossible to explain .

I refrain from "we should have"s, but Anthony Grant would've put up some numbers...even in that groanworthy Chaney offense.

I don't know that I've ever been as wrong about a coach as I was about Scott Frost. I admit I wanted him here in 2017 after we fired Butch. He's been consistently awful at Nebraska. I know Nebraska in the 2020's is a difficult job, but no way he should be struggling this much.

It looks more and more like the undefeated season at UCF was just an aberration. Maybe he had strong assistants. I've seen no evidence that he's even a 2nd or 3rd tier coach. He's bottom tier. He's awful!

And it's not talent. He's had talent. He's just a very bad coach!

He was working mostly with O’Leary’s recruits. He’s yet to build his own program in limited sample size.

He won't get fired till after October. There's a provision in his contract if he's fired before October x, 2022 (can't remember exact date), he gets a huge payout. They'll wait till after that, but it would take a miracle to save him at this point.

Bah, he had a ton of transfer portal guys come in. He has plenty. I remember prior to the first game the talk was all about the transfer qb from Texas and WR from LSU

O'Leary's recruits went 0-12 two years earlier so that can't be the only explanation. And he's had talent at Nebraska; he's just an awful coach. His players look unprepared. He makes routinely bone-headed calls.

Someone on that UCF staff knew what they were doing when Frost didn't. Kinda feels like Butch Jones in hindsight. Jones looked alright when he had Josh Dobbs bailing him out and Bajakian coaching the offense. Same deal with Frost and McKenzie Milton; he's looked clueless ever since he no longer had him.

I don’t consider stocking up with players that didn’t work out elsewhere PROGRAM BUILDING. It’s caulking with Dollar Tree brand product.

Yeah? And won 9 games the previous season and 12 the season before. And Bob Stoops won a NC with mostly John Blake recruited talent…and NEVER AGAIN. It’s what you do with it. But the elite coaches develop the culture AND shop for the groceries. Frost has failed at Nebraska in both areas so he needs to take over a mid-major and fine tune his process.

So Frost has been at Nebraska since 2018… I think 4 years is enough time to bring in your own guys and at least show something
