There's still a lot of time left, but at the end of the 1st quarter the FBS-killer Bisons are up 7-0 over the Hawkeyes.

Let's see if the FCS Champs can knock off a ranked team.

Another Iowa TD makes it 21-14 at the end of the 3rd quarter. The Bisons will start the 4th with a 3rd and 11 from the Iowa 32.

How do you give up that big of a run to a quarterback on the first play of the last drive in the fourth quarter?

Hey big 12 send North Dakota st a conference invite . There better then half of the teams u sent invites to
Three yards and a cloud of dust won't work here over a full season...Charlie Strong and Gary Patterson found that out. NDSU is a BIG 10 team.

Well this has been a sucky Saturday! Watching the Vols struggle and squeak by Ohio and then seeing my Hawkeyes lose, just topped it off!

Doesn't really work that well for the Big 12. They're a very small school from an almost non-existant market in a small state that's like 47th in population in the U.S.

It'd be nice to see the school continue getting more recognition, but it might be best they stay at their current level.

Looks like a tie, beating Kansas State and Iowa State in the Big 12 and Iowa and Minnesota in the Big 10.

Yup. Stay at current level. NDSU is an ag university that has a rabid, albeit, small fan base but they do travel very well. Fan base is 80% - 90% farmers that where basically everybody has had a friend, brother or uncle that has played on the team. I had my doubts about them playing IOWA, but they are the Bison that have beat 6 FBS teams in a row, not to mention 5 time repeat FCS champions. Iowa will for sure drop in the polls but they got beat by a very good team that looks to be poised for their 6th championship - in the past 6 years. Nobody has done this before in collegiate football. Nobody.

I'm sry but if I have to choose between Tulane and NDSU in going NDSU all the way . I know what have been doing is nothing compared to the Big 12 but I would love to see a program like this actually compete and rise . Become a legit giant killer . We don't ever have a program that's a giant killer just coaches

No one in the big 12 is considering Tulane.

North Dakota State is for real folks. They've been good for years. They have a great coach. Yes, they are FCS but they just showed they have the talent to beat a P5 conference team.

They don't get 4* & 5* recruits guys. Iowa had the better star ranking recruits but their will & coaching won this game against Iowa.

I was shocked but I really though ND State would keep it close but not win. It won't be long in my opinion before ND State will be filing to move up to an FBS D1 program.

NDSU also had 22 LESS scholarship athletes than Iowa, too.

i wonder why FBS teams still schedule them. its a lose lose situation. If you win you are only beating an FCS team, if you lose you lose to an FCS team. and oh yeah you probably dropped a million plus to do it.
