North Texas vs #9 Georgia

The Michigan fan in me hopes Georgia has to have a goal-line stand to win. I'm looking for any positive possible.

UNT is running an offense very similar to ours, and it's been pretty effective versus the dogs for a quarter. GA is stuffing the RB portion of the option but the QB keep and the 7 yard passing routes are open. GA is really only up 7-0 due to superior field position from special teams.

Let's see how well it does by the end of the game, though, before we decide to start patting ourselves on the back or anything about that game

GA will probably win because of superior athletes but the "won't ever work in the SEC offense" just methodically went 87 yards to cut the GA lead to 14-7 with a bunch of 2-stars running it. Not saying we will win (because quite frankly I think UNT runs this scheme better than we do) but this is clearly giving GA problems and if we had a QB as good as UNT's we'd be less than a touchdown dog to the Dawg.

Georgia went three and out on the first possession of the second half, North Texas blocks the punt...touchdown. Tied at 21 early in the third, and these teams look almost exactly even. I'm not sure whether that says a lot about North Texas or very little about Georgia, though.

And, LOL, the North Texas fans in the stadium are chanting SEC SEC.
