7-7, 2nd quarter. UK’s O line having some issues protecting Levis. Has given up 11 sacks so far this year.

I’ve watched 2 of their games. They hang their hat on defense for sure. They completely shut Anthony Richardson down. Only allowed 4 yards rushing against him the entire game. They make a lot of boneheaded mistakes in offense though and beat themselves in situational football with turnovers. And their O line is not good at all. They get Chris Rodriguez back next week. Will be interesting to see if he is as good of a runner without the good O lines they have had the last few years. I’m not sure if they are overrated though, after how their D dominated UF in the swamp. Feels like the jury is still out on them.

Kentucky 31-17 over Northern Illinois not very impressive. I think Kentucky will lose to Ole Miss and Miss State and they will be 5-2 going into the game with Tennessee in Knoxville.

Seems like UK struggles with one or two of these type of teams every year, but all 3 of their wins against OOC opponents up to this point have been thoroughly unimpressive. I think they’ll continue to improve offensively as the season goes on, though to what extent will be the question.

If they don’t get Rodriguez back, they’re in for a rough rest of the season. It’s also obvious how much they miss Wandale Robinson. Dane Key looks pretty good, but relying on a true freshman as your go to playmaker isn’t a recipe for success in the SEC.

Kentucky will lose to Ole Miss and Mississippi State two out of the next three weeks and limp into the Tennessee game with a 5-2 record.

UK is overrated.

I fail to see the hype in them right now.

I agree with this. They are still living off the Florida win like Florida was living off the Utah win. Vandy blew out Northern Illinois the week before. They are probably overrated but we'll find out more after this week.
