7-3 Northwestern at the half.

Only reason Nebraska scored is because Northwestern turned it over before the half on a batted ball.

Persa got injured right at the end of the half too. Not sure if he'll be back

The hit was pretty wicked. Defender drug him down and slammed his throwing shoulder into the ground really freakin hard. It looked pretty painful. He came back out, made a nice throw and proceeded to get hit the next play and went off the field holding his shoulder

But yeah, it seems like he's hurt a lot. That can happen to QB's who scramble a lot. I'm not sure Northwestern has the best line either though. He seems to stand in there and take a fair amount hits on top of scrambling

Persa on the sidelines to start the 2nd half.

Northwestern actually just brought out their 3rd stringer on a passing play. Back up being used to scramble

Nebraska turns it over on downs. Northwestern ate them up in the backfield on 4th and 2. Might have lost 2 lol

Actually, I think they're better than they've been in a while. Ohio State was the only relevant team in the conference for a while. You had second tier teams like Iowa and Wisconsin but now, Michigan State has improved and Northwestern has been turning it around and has been competing. Michigan is getting back on track. They added Nebraska. Not really anything new though, even Illinois has been competing and beating Ohio State etc. and Illinois always sucks. I don't care what their ranking says. They always suck

True. However, the conference's highest ranked team is losing to a mediocre NW squad at home, the only undefeated in-conference team has a horrible offense, Michigan State is way too hot and cold to be a great team, etc.

Agreed. I feel like these teams are more or less competing at a similar level that Ohio State had been. Ohio State was just steamrolling a crappy conference(we saw the way they sucked in the championship). I think the Big 10 has increased to a higher level as a whole and there is no stand out team that can win week in and week out

Northwestern doing a good job of controlling the tempo. Had the ball 25:12 to Nebraska's 19:48. That's despite three turnovers... Nebraska has two themselves though

After watching this game and the A&M game, looks like we could have some future Wes Welker's(in Iowa's case, Tim Dwight) on our hands. Seeing lots of guys(white guys) getting behind secondaries today

Fine... it's racist. Just saying I've noticed, jeeez :)
