Syracuse was up 6-0 on two field goals but Northwestern just returned a punt at the end of the 1st quarter to take the lead.

7-6 Northwestern after 1.

Awesome interception that was almost returned for a touchdown by NW.

A receiver got hit while trying to make a catch and a NW player picked it off. One play later, Northwestern scores on a 21 yard touchdown.

14-13 Wildcats

Syracuse's QB just took a clean helmet shot to the stomach. He might be down for the count... TKO.

That will make you think twice about standing in their trying to complete a pass on 3rd and 9. He might make some bad throws down the line because he's afraid to get hit.

And Northwestern's punt returner just had another 52 yard punt return.

Touchdown Northwestern.

21-13 Wildcats.

Sadly, this probably the most entertaining game on at the moment. Which isn't saying much.

Hahahaha

Syracuse just threw a pass to the runningback that was almost a straight line but it was slightly backwards. Everyone thought the play was over and the NW guy picked it up to toss the ball to ref while both teams were standing around. A couple Northwestern guys were telling him to run, he started to but then stopped because he thought it was dead. He found out the play was still alive and was able to return it for a touchdown.

Hilarious.

I know Northwestern plays Vandy. Who does Cuse play?

And dang, I turn it for a few minutes and it goes from 35-13 to 35-27. Thought Northwestern had em finished.

Syracuse plays Missouri around November I think

They're the replacement for the spot that Missouri had left open in the hopes that Kansas would [act like adults and] continue their rivalry.

And Syracuse has come back from 22 down, wow.

They have to get the 2 to tie it.

Northwestern's starting QB has to leave for a play on 3rd down because his helmet came off.

What a stupid rule!

Choke.

After scoring 28 in a row, Northwestern has given up 28 unanswered.

Not really giving Syracuse enough credit here though; they did start out like 5-2 last year (& stomp WVU) before injuries/depth caught up with them in the second half of the season

I think once you get up 35-13 with a couple minutes left in the 3rd quarter and you give up 28 points in a row to go down 41-35 it's considered choking. Not looking at the record, looking at the game for what it is. Utah State wasn't supposed to beat Auburn but I considered that choking even though they weren't supposed to win anyways.

They went from being up 22 to down 6 in the span of 15 minutes.

That was a lucky flag. Wow

Now Syracuse is going to choke. Boneheaded
