Seems like the Irish are still struggling after that blowout loss to Arizona State.

With 5:33 left in the first half, a 3-6 Northwestern is up.


But as soon as I typed this post, Notre Dame scores again.

It's now 27-23 Irish.

Northwestern got the 2 point conversion to make it 40-37 Notre Dame with 4 minutes left.

Just further indictment of how overrated Florida State really is. Best win of the year is over a pretty average team.

Northwestern probably should have gotten the ball back there, but they get flagged on pass interference on 3rd down with 1:42 left in the game.


So barring a bizarre fumble, Notre Dame's going to win this one 40-37.
