The three top WNCAA teams have been beaten in the conference tournaments.
Top ranked Duke was first to fall to NC State (Duke's first loss). Next was the Lady Vols who lost to LSU who in turn lost to Vandy. Next was UConn waiting in the wings to move into the #1 slot. No way says Rugters who beat the Lady Huskies in the Big East final.
