What an unbelievable way to give away a ball game. I know that I'm late getting on today and all these things may have been discussed ad nauseum, but maybe there are some of you that can shed light on some questions I have. With a three point lead, why do you let the opponent drive the length of the floor for a layup with only token resistance, especially when the first time you have a foul to give, then compound it by doing so again? Why,late in the game with a one point lead and the ball, when everybody in the game knew a foul was coming, were not the best free throw shooters in the game? Why with three and one half or so seconds left,do you contest a rebound that LSU clearly had eighty feet from the basket? Now,as an afterthought,I and many of you have seen this type play time after time with nothing called. Don't know who the official was,but she has had Diamond Deshields in her crosshairs every time she officiates Lady Vol games. This is several times that she has let DD get mugged consistently and calls foul on her for getting too close to an opponent. For you Diamond detractors, she played well today and pulled the LVs out of the hole in the second half. After these answers,of course,it's still turnovers, lay ups, free throws and coaching miscues that have made this the worst Lady Vol team ever. Been watching over forty years, and have never seen a Lady Vol team and coaches be so lost on the floor.
