I was actually at the game tonight. More than 300 people but definitely a sparse crowd. But, to be fair, our region has been under a severe weather watch all afternoon. Forecast was terrible - 30-50 mph wind gusts, severe thunderstorms, etc. Luckily, no storms blew in, but it rained most of the game - heavily at times. I was in a suite and quite happy to be dry.

The last couple of CCU games I’ve attended have had 15-18K in attendance. It’s a fun place to watch a game, and CCU is a fun team to support. I’m enjoying their success.

But you will have some idiots on here bragging about them lighting up sun belt teams and because we lost to Ole Miss or Pitt that they would beat us. Lol. We would beat CC by 17+.

Nothing against their coach, but they’re not that good this year. Yes they have a good record but they’ve beat nobody. Last year they had creditability

I enjoy watching them play ball. It seems they are on Wednesday or Thursday a lot so it is a nice mid week game for me.

I don’t think that’s a top 25 team and I’m glad we didn’t hire that staff but I do enjoy watching them.
