I love my Vols no matter how they play good or bad.Just give them time it will be good again in volnation.

Since when does the amount of time you are in a job dictate the quality of job you do? The last two games were poorly coached. They were steps backward for this team. Dooley was rightly blamed when it happened under him... and it is just as right to blame Jones.

I mean really people you lame tards think you can do better...get off your ncaa 14 game cause you not a real coach just because you can coach a game better on xbox or ps3 doesnt mean u can coach a real team..coach jones is the one getting paid the big money and the ones that criticize him couldnt do no better....I say GO COACH JONES #VFL. #RISETOTHETOP #F*THEHATERS....GBO!!!!

So he's getting paid that money but the people who in some direct or indirect way provide the funds to pay him that money cannot say anything when his performance is questionable?

The D played worse in the last two games than it did the previous 2. The OL seems to continue to slide.

Many would have been satisfied with a USCe effort vs Mizzou. That would have made it competitive if not better. Instead we were treated with something more in line with the UF or USA performance/effort.

I do not hate Jones at all. I want him to succeed every bit as much as you do. But I am NOT in denial about his responsibility for the performance of this team right now.

I like CBJ, but I've never understood the crowd that says that you are not a VFL or a Vol fan because you critique the coaching staff. I'm a huge Vols fan, but to look past coaching as a huge variable to the success of our team seems a little short sighted. I to want him to succeed as much as anyone, but I think a bowl game is a must his first year. If that is not achieved, I'll consider that as under achieving. Even Dooley went to a bowl his first year.

Agreed. And in no way, shape, or form am I looking for him to be fired or even his staff. I just want to see better coaching. I think we were all impressed with the discipline and effort this team showed to start the season. Even after laying an egg vs Oregon, they came back with good effort, discipline, and improvement. But they have regressed in the last two games by a large degree.

I don't want a change of coaches right now... just a change in coaching.

I have said since the start that this was a better roster than Dooley's first one vs a similar schedule. Dooley won six games. I don't think six wins this year proves anything in favor of the staff.

Really, what has either of them done to improve on what we've had or done past 3 years? Everybody blew Dobbs way out of proportion as if he was the next Cam Newton and what has he shown?

Hey, we got linemen that false start over and over every week and never lose a sing snap of playing time as a result.

We go defensive backs who act too hurt to practice all week and then, like by the divinity of God, are suddenly ready to play on game day.......and they are allowed to start.

These are not the coaching practices of coaches who succeed in the SEC.

Everything you said is debatable, except one thing. There is absolutely no way anyone can honestly say that Team 117 has quit on Coach Jones. Every player on this team is playing hard and every player on this team believes that they are building the future of the Tennessee football program. They've been outmatched and outplayed by superior talent, but they have never, ever given up. Not even for a single play.

Don't mistake lack of success for lack of effort.

Wow...just wow....

Im speechless that someone is that stupid to not be sold so far. I never saw Dooley beat a top 25 team...hell I never saw Dooley get a win in the SEC worth a s***:rolleyes:
