Note to the Gators: Win!

I know that isn't a popular sentiment around here. The Gators are our second most hated foe and the UT/UF rivaly is almost as heated as 'bama/AU. But I can't bring myself to pull for tOSU, and I was born in Ohio! I can't stomach all of the National Media anointing tOSU the champs before the game has even been played. It's nearly as sickening as the love fest shown to Notre Dame.

If Spurrier were still the coach at UF, then yeah, I'd like to see the Buckeyes stomp a mudhole in his visor while it's still on his head. Spurrier was the manifestation of the worst of Gator fans, rude, classless, boorish and whiny when things didn't go his way. Urban Meyer, on the other hand, seems to be a classy guy (yes, I know he whines too) and is obviously a damn good coach, I don't care if he is using Zook's recruits, the results speak for themselves.

Like it or not, the Gators are representing the SEC in College Football's biggest stage. I don't think anyone in the SEC has worked harder than the Gators, nor does any other team deserve to be where they are.

So, go Gators! Beat the stuffing out of tOSU. Next Tuesday I'll once again be an official Big Orange Gator Hater, but next Monday all I want you to do is WIN!!

Urban Meyer may be a good guy, but the fans (not all, mind you, but still a lot that I know) have remained the same. Go Buckeyes.

I don't see the media handing Ohio State the trophy. The media knos Meyer is a good coach, think of it this way: He took Zook recruits and came within a hair's breadth of an undefeated SEC campaign. Nobody's giving this one 50-50 odds, but it's about as close to that as most bowl games get.

i tried to tow the company line and root for the SEC, but the thought of CUM holding up a crystal football and Tebow and Leak getting rings....all the while CBD and the bball team are holding a NT at the same time as well.....

ugh. can't do it.

i've said this before, because i don't like osu either, choosing between these two teams is like choosing squash or brussell sprouts for dinner. they both suck.
