Notice Warlick Patting Players On the Back So Often Lately?

I think she is weary of transfers coming soon...just my opinion. I've noticed this in recent post game pressers, and seems to be locked in on every word the players in the press conference are saying...looking directly at them almost all the time. I really do think the off season theatrics will be worth buying a ticket...get your popcorn ready! Kinda reminds me of Confederate General Pickett's response to General Lee at Gettysburg during a meeting on the second day of battle when Lee said "General, return to your troops" and Pickett responds "General, I have no troops to return to"...

I read "patting players on the back*side* so often lately" and really thought the OP was taking this thread in a WAY different direction, lol.

Well, let me spell it out in black and white...I hope CHW has a team to return to...I would rather see her "transfer" before any of the players...lol

Colorado University has an open position for a Head Coach.... maybe we should forward her resume to the AD.

Even she would be better than the last 3 Colorado coaches.

Pretty ridiculous thinking there won't be a team next year. There will be minimal transfers, if any at all.

My friend, you get a big ole 'like' because, unlike 98.5% of the posters on this or any other site, you know who General Pickett is and a little about the great war of northern aggression.

I'll bet General Warlick will retain most of her troops, but you may be right, the theatrics this summer might be fun.

On top of that, wouldn't it be cool if the Ladies made it to the Final Four this year--or beyond!!

I don't think "cool" is the word, more like "a miracle". Only saw the last 10 minutes of the game but I could have sworn I saw a team playing together; almost; other than Diamond Deshields shooting most of the shots. By the same token if she's hitting then by all means feed her the ball. Doesn't change my opinion about making a coaching change though. I do wish the team good luck!

My guess is that she's doing it because they're finally playing up to their abilities. Simple as that.

I think the Pickett quote was on day 3. Other than that, a fine sentiment.

This is not new. Holly has been picking her player up all year.

No, she should scold them and break them, oh they quit on her. They not playing hard for her, Holly great job, you had establish your identity for this group as a defensive team, they have set the bar for that, now let's set the bar for rebounding and offense.

Oh, sorry I forgot we won't have a team next year, the program is ruined, all the players are transferring, so get all those Pats in now Holly.

Now its takes a special player to win the next two games, let's hope Diamond is ready, Mitchell and Wilson will be.

I back Holly and roll with the Lady Vols.

Holly and the players represent the U of T. Wish you bashers would put a little more effort into looking for ways to praise the team and less time bashing the coach.

Hopefully the team will make Final Four!!
