From everything I've gathered I think the Big Money wants him gone...it seemed like Todd got involved in this process a little early for a college president. It is hard to stem that kind of tide.

I don't think that Barnhart has any say in the matter. If they dump Billy Clyde and are in this same spot in two years, Barnhart will be next on the chopping block. Any way you look at it they are dooming their program to 5 years of mediocrity.

Might fans of other SEC teams want him to stay, due to his on-court results so far? Of course, we're thinking about the fact that he's been beating us.

No - I'm glad he's leaving whether or not he beat us 3/4. He was going to have Kentucky stocked with McDonald's AAs in a few years. Now this may set them back another couple of years.

I agree, Bassman.

I figure Ferguson in the junior class will decommit if BCG is gone. The new coach may not even be interested in holding the commits from the middle schoolers.

As for the players due to report to UK next season, most of them have signed their LOI. So, the new coach will have a chance to talk them into not asking for a release. That is a big difference from football, regarding the timing of signing day and the coaching carousel.

Wow...He's got a hell of a good recruiting class lined up as well...I wonder if they will re-open up their recruitment if BG is let go?
