Hey guys,

Im seeing my first college game this weekend! So excited, just wondering if anyone on here is making the trip? I know a lot of US fans are coming over... I also know that lots of people have ties with Notre Dame. For instance my friend who went to UCLA is coming over because his family are Notre Dame fans.

Also, any tips for college games? How loud are the bands? What are Notre Dame fans like? Are they hostile?

You can be sure I am going in my Vols Jersey and cap! I may even sing Rocky Top during the game!

Go Navy. And Notre Dame fans are delusional and tend to brag about championships that were won 50 years prior to them being born.

I Will be totally pro Navy. I hate Notre Dame... There are apparently 30,000 Notre Dame fans making the trip. Meaning Fans here are a minority.. That's good in some ways and sad in others... And most fans here are ND fans because they love cliche! So Navy need all he support they can get.

I was planning on coming over for the game until I realized that it was the same weekend as UT-NCSU.

I work with a man who's son is in the ND band, he and his wife left this morning for Ireland. I'll have to ask him if he saw you in your Tennesee gear.

Wear your UT gear so we can spot you. The only cool thing about Notre Dame is the Rudy movie...and that's it

I think my seats are lower tier behind one of the endzones.... If you spotted me that would be insane! It's not a big stadium though...

My Dad will be next to me wearing a Cal Bears home jersey...

I really wanted to, but for certain reasons I have to go to the NC State game.

My family actually had tickets to the Navy/ND game, but couldn't make it work.

Fair play.. I guess its not such a big deal for you because you can see the Vols play instead. if i missed this weekends game I would have been totally gutted...

"I've always felt like to have a successful team you've got to have a few bad citizens on the team," Pinkett said on WSCR-AM 670. "That's how Ohio State used to win all the time. They would have two or three guys that were criminals and that just adds to the chemistry of the team. I think Notre Dame is growing because maybe they have some guys that are doing something worthy of a suspension which creates edge on the football team.

"You can't have a football team full of choir boys. You get your butt kicked if you've got a team full of choir boys so you've got to have a little bit of edge. But the coach has to be the dictator and the ultimate ruler. Here's my opinion: You don't hand out suspensions unless you know you've got somebody behind that guy that can make plays."

I'm still trying to figure that out...

Who goes around saying they want criminals on the team and it means your team is headed in the right direction? That's jacked up.
