Notre Dame of each conference?

So which team in each conference comes into the year with HUGE/ridiculous expectations and usually suffer a loss taking them out of the NC by week 3? If you have trouble understanding my description, these teams are usually also endorsed by Lou Holtz. My list goes:

SEC- UGA
Big 10- Michigan
Big 12- A&M?
Pac 12- toss up between all? idk
ACC- tie between VT and FSU
Big East- all suck

I'll just go with Overated teams every year.

SEC-UGA
Big 10-Michigan State
Big 12-A@M and OSU
Pac 12-Arizona State
ACC- FSU
Big East- WVU

PAC 12 is Oregon (sometimes USC)

SEC is Georgia, at least in the last 5-10 years. Every summer we have to hear about how this is "GA's year" to win a title, blah blah blah. Plus, nothing they did over the summer justified ranking them pre-season following a loss to Central FL in the Liberty Bowl.

Not so sure about A&M mentioned like that in the Big12 - yeah they lost to OK St. last night, but Oklahoma usually comes out with a top-5 ranking about every year. And Texas has been under-performing given their top-5 recruiting classes every year for the last decade.

Big Ten - Iowa
Big XII - No one (would have been Nebraska)
Pac-12 - ASU
ACC - Clemson
Big East - Pitt

I don't get all the UGA, Ohio State, Michigan, Virginia Tech, FSU, etc. picks. All those programs win conference titles and BCS games with about as much regularity as possible. I went with teams that are actually in line with ND -- Preseason hype or at least regular dark horse picks to win the conference, and seemingly never or almost never pan out.
