Notre Dame vs Stanford

Notre Dame losing to 1-4 (now 2-4) Stanford. What were Notre Dame ranked again?
Notre Dame lost 16-14 to a Stanford team that had 1 win and that was over Colgate. Notre Dame will i think be looking for a new head coach in December.

It was dumb of them to make a lazy hire without going out and doing a real coaching search first. Now they are paying for it this season.

I think if Notre Dame is looking for a new head coach in December three good candidates are James Franklin of Penn State,Bret Bielema the Illinois head football coach and Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi.

Serious here. If there's any feasible way they can sneak it past their donors/fanbase, expect to see Urban in South Bend next year

It's his dream and couldn't pass it up.

Their pride is hurt right now. They are desperate.
Conference re-alignment is going to be YUGE. They want to maximize their influence and to continue to be relevant they need to have a voice right now.

He would be a homerun hire for Notre Dame to get them noticed again. I would hire him if i were the Notre Dame AD even if he only stays for 3-4 seasons.

If the media doesnt make a big deal about it, the majority of fans would be all for it.

I agree. All that being said though, I give it about a ten percent chance of happening.
.
While I absolutely detest them, ND has sold that squeaky clean image of themselves for over a century. That facade is their brand. Do they really want to really do a 180 overnight and embrace the "convicts" side of the equation?

I bet Notre Dame will probably if they're looking for a head football coach they will offer the job to Bret Bielema or Pat Narduzzi.
