I would assume they would move to The Link for Big East games? I was up there this fall and the FB stadium is not a D-1 stadium.

I'd assume so, the current stadium only seats 12,500, iirc they'd need 15k, or a plan to get there, in order to be considered. I'm not sure if the Big East has a standard of its own.

Temple already uses the Eagles stadium for home games. I figure it would be possible but very difficult for two college teams to share a stadium.

But they have that oh-so-desired playoff. Gee, why would anyone jump to that silly ol' bowl system

Seems like a lot of schools are making the jump to D-I ball. Texas State (Southwest Texas St.) has hired Dennis Franchione to make the jump and UTSA will come on-line soon from scratch with Larry Coker as coach.

With Coker leading the way, they will be a powerhouse.

So they can lose millions from accepting a bowl invitation by absorbing thousands of tickets they couldn't sell to their fan base!

The outcry from cfb fans in Philly, San Antonio, and San Marcus in moving away from playoffs is deafening

Franchione could revive his career by getting some of his son's players out of Blinn JC (Michael Bishop, Cam Newton type QBs). aTm hides alot of talent at Blinn.

I just really get a kick out of the 'Necks who feel compelled to chime in on anything in the Around the NCAA Forum.
