I don't get peoples fascination with Pitino Jr. Has he really done anything to warrant a big time job? Three years in as being a head coach he has a 61-42 overall record. He does have a NIT championship, so that's something. I guess people are more attracted to his name than his actual results. He may up being a really good coach in time, but right now he isn't IMO.
Let's put it this way, how many first year head coaches that goes 18-14 becomes a head coach at a Power 5 university after their first year?
