Just looking down the road toward the future of Tennessee Basketball. Who will try and go to the bigs and who stays?

Judging by their individual efforts this year, none of them have any claim to going to the SHOW. Best take would be T.Smith but right now he would be late pick. All of them should return cause they got a lot of work to do!!!!!!

The only guy who has a chance to leave early is Tyler Smith. He's been projected as a late first rounder throughout this season, but he may slip to early second. It's going to be a tough decision for him, but I think he's gone. I thought maybe Chism had a real good chance to leave after this year, but his inconsistency is catching up to him - he'll stay.

If anyone leaves after this season, you will need a Euro league pass to see them play next year.

i agree and with that being said, I still think Tyler leaves after this year. he has a small child to care for and I bet he leaves for the money, even though it won't be anything like playing in the NBA, he could still make $250,000 which is not bad work if you can find it.

Tyler Smith will leave and he'll be a late 2nd rounder if he's lucky.

If Wayne decides to leave he'll be undrafted.

Tyler Smith was being talked about as someone who can leave early. I don't see how he can now. If Perry Stevenson can shut him down, I don't know how he expects to play in the NBA.

Shouldn't this thread be more about who is eligible or not and who BP decides to keep or run off?

I'm sure BP is hoping some hit their 4th (or is it 5th? per university) strike so he won't have to make the decision.

Smith is not an NBA player. He'll be in Europe his entire career. Chism has a much better chance to eventually become some type of role player in the league. You can't play in the NBA at 6'7'' without a consistent jump shot, which is why Smith will never make it.

Chuck Barkley thinks you're nuts.

I feel like Smith needs at least another year to work on his fundamentals and his decision making. IMO Chism isn't going to the league anytime.

i think smith will leave and be a 1st round pick its not all about scoring in the nba... he can do everything really well... is corey brewer worth a top ten pick i dont think so he was taking b/c the same fact smith will be..

hopson has nba written all over him with some time to mature and fill out his body... chism will stay and possibly will get drafted after his senior yr

Wasn't worth the list as it's enormous. Barkley was the shortest PF I could think of.

And I don't think Smith is as good of a rebounder as any on that list. Most undersized PF's with no jumpshot were still very good rebounders. Smith is average at best in that category.

I agree, there is NO NBA talent on this roster.

Does someone named Scotty Hopson possibly ring a bell? Someone said he was 80th on an ESPN list but he is a freshman. I think he goes in the first round by the time he leaves UT, the kid has all the talent in the world...
