Maurice Couch... what is our outlook on Gabe Wright or Mickey Johnson ? do we still take one or two of them if they commit?

dang... 4 in this class alone ? alright.. haha.. just wondering if this would steer wright away from us... maybe he can see that he will have a chance to learn and mature behind couch?

BTW, how many years does Couch have at UT ?

dang wish he had 3 but ill definetly take it.. maybe this will give ayres an entire year to train in the weight room and become the next wes brown.. haha

Our depth at DT isn't good. We definitely need at least 4 and could take 5.

The article on govolsxtra said 2 years.

but he will be ready for pt..soo its not like you have to wait for him to develop

We already have 3 dt's committed. When you have a walk on starting over MH, you got issues at dt. No guarantee that walls is hundred percent next year either or someone else gets hurt. Ut needs bodies, and alot of them.

I say take Sylvester Williams who you know can get in as long as he has that freaking Math Class, he can come in with Couch (once he re-commits) & add depth right away. Then take Wright & be done at DT.

That would give us 2 JUCO DT's, who can play from Day 1
Gabe Wright who can be in the rotation from Day 1
& have Allan Carson & Saulsberry get some snaps but focus ALOT of the S&C program & learning the playbook.
