Daisey, however, stands by his original storyline. "It uses a combination of fact, memoir and dramatic license to tell its story, and I believe it does so with integrity," Daisey said on his blog.

Is "dramatic license" a cleaner way of saying "lying"? :unsure:

I read that the suicide rate in that mammoth factory was much lower than in China as a whole and that most of the workers there were quite happy with their jobs.
