Not much to say at this point. We're witnessing an implosion of historic proportions. No excuses should be offered because none will be accepted. Can't really think of much to say that hasn't already been said so far this season.

Kudo's to the special teams, they picked it up this week. Defense played good, not great.

Offense is embarrasing, truly embarassing. Wish we weren't playing on national TV again next week because we're becoming a joke.

UT plays ND next week right? Hope PF can get that offense Rollin'. Too many turnovers. One too many! :banghead:

We treated this one like a win was guaranteed in the 3rd quarter and kept Ainge in to get him some "practice".

Well, that obviously backfired.

ND will beat us.
Memphis (DAngelo Williams) will have a good shot.
Vandy has a good shot.

We still have Kentucky.

But if we play like we have with all the mistakes, we might not win another. We are beating ourselves. Bad coaching, bad attitudes....

You got a team full of talent that plays like that, points to a management problem.

I agree that we have problems but I haven't seen evidence of attitude problems - not from the players at least.

We just lost to one of the worst teams in the SEC. This outfit lost to Auburn 48-7 for crying out loud.

If it wasn't for our defense and a surprise showing by our special teams we would have been beaten by 2 or more TDs.

Actually, we just lost to the now 3rd best team in the SEC East. It's not just us, the entire SEC is busting on a national level. Our regular cellar squads are worse than normal, and this will probably be the first year in forever that we won't send 6 or 7 teams bowling.

Good point, I should have said "we just became one of the worst teams in the SEC."

Can you imagine if we finished the year 3-8?

See Alabama 2000. They started #3 too, I believe, and finished 3-8.

Ainge played well tonight, Clausen sucked, Arian Foster ran great, he's going to be our next Travis Henry or Jamal Lewis judging by his running style, our O-Line played good, defense played well through 3 1/2....Last 1/2 of the 4th we just sucked on all sides of the ball....Special Teams played well tonight for once

I believe your right. Well, maybe we'll be back in the N.C. hunt in five years, too.

Yeah, everyone knows that giving up 65 rushing yards is a mediocre defensive performance... the problems late were cause by being on the field too long from the ineptitude of the offense.

The O sucks. Anything else is emmotions talking.

#10 AINGE #10 I must politefully disagree I think Ainge sucked out loud and Clausen should have played the ENTIRE GAME. I think it was another HORRIBLE call by PF to play Ainge....... :twocents:

Realistically, neither are very good. I think the coaching staff is hoping beyond hope one of them will step up at some point. At this point, neither Ainge nor Clausen can consistently move the ball for us.

Ainge didn't throw an INT on the first pass play of the game inside our own 30? I'm not sure on the yardage on that one......I don't understand why he put Clausen in there at the end, I know the boy don't let much rattle him but he looked pretty rattled tonight when he was throw in there in the fire at the end of the game
