Number of arrests by SEC team 2010-13 - Saturday Down South

We're tied for number 10! We're tied for number 10! We're tied for number 10!

Seriously, though. It's good to see stability and players with integrity being brought on board. I hope we continue this trend, and eventually are in 14th in the next few years, as Butch seems to have an eye for players who aren't terrible people. So far anyway lol.

I wonder what our ranking was under Fulmer? Top 5? At least we weren't as bad as "The U." Felt like I was watching the Longest Yard when they played in the late 80's early 90's

Also explains a lot about Mizzou winning the East last year. That's an unfair advantage having gay men AND convicts on your team

Finally something I am fine with at being last in the SEC. Good job young men and the coaching staff.

I know no one gives Dooley any credit, and rightly so in many areas, but he did seem to recruit higher character guys. It seems overall behavior has been much better than the guys that Kiffin and Fulmer brought in. Butch definitely seems to be continuing the trend.

Agree, Dooley was brought in to both coach and clean up the program. He failed miserably on the coaching front but he did turn around our embarrassing arrest record. He deserves credit for that. Kiffin brought in a majority of bad seeds that fed off his immature behavior. Fulmer had a lot of problem players also but nothing compared to Urban Meyer's reign at Florida. He averaged 8-10 arrests a year but the Tebow mania and winning made everyone look the other way. Muschamp hasn't really improved Florida's arrest record. Richt has been consistently at the top of the arrest records since he got to Georgia. His good guy image makes people look the other way. Glad we are headed in the right direction in these rankings.

Saban has done a good job at Bama. They had a lot of problems off the field before he got there.

Doesn't matter one whit right now, I remember CPF'S NC and conference championships and wearing that orange jersey meant something . :shakehead:

I'm not bashing Fulmer, but I'm pretty sure we a lot more players in trouble with the law during that time

Say what you want about Muschamp. But he has cleaned house at Florida. I think the last legit major arrest was the Antonio Morrison barking incident.

I recognize this talk. Welcome to the bottom AFL. It's lonely down here.
