According to Rivals, we have 26 commits.

Gerald Williams will not qualify (again), so that makes 25.

I will assume that 1 other player will not qualify (probably Rogan) - 24.

Also, I am not sure, but we should have some to enroll early and count towards last year's class (2-3 players).

Therefore, in my calculations, we still have room for 8-10 more players to commit.

If we have any scholly's left to give then here's a list of the most important commits to get...(in no order)

Marvin Austin
Carlos Dunlap
Lennon Creer
Michael McNeil
Sidell Corley (Gator commit so it may not matter w/ him)
Ahmad Paige (not committed to FSU anymore...favors Gators)
Morgan Burnett
Stefoin Francois
Brandon Paul
Rae Sykes (probably won't qualify...if he hasn't already)
Dwight Jones (UNC commit so it may not matter w/ him)
William Brimfield

What's the deal with Inky Johnson? I hope he stays on scholarship so he can get a degree, but does his departure from the team mean that we have a new scholarship available?

The school will take care of Inky.

Pope, Sawtelle, Evans, Langley, and Campbell are all early enrollees.

Gerald hasn't qualified yet but he still has quite a while(it wasn't really expected that he got in by January). Rogan won't qualify. We may greyshirt a few.

Marvin Austin-FSU/UNC/UT
Carlos Dunlap-South Car
Lennon Creer-UT(unless Texas offers)
Michael McNeil-UAT/AU/UT
Sidell Corley-UAT/UF/UT
Ahmad Paige-LSU/UF/UT
Morgan Burnett-GT
Stefoin Francois-LSU
Brandon Paul-FSU/UT
Rae Sykes-JUCO
Dwight Jones-UNC
William Brimfield-UT/South Car

If I had to guess, I'd say our final commitments will be Lennon Creer, Darnius Moore, William Brimfield, Chris Perry, and Nevin McKenzie. That is not counting any big surprises we may land(Marvin Austin, Brandon Paul, Carlos Dunlap, Michael McNeil).

A former Vol said that he knows of 3 players we will get between now and signing day(2 big ones and one kind of off the radar). He says Marvin Austin is a lock for UT and one of the others is a DL. He also says we will get a transfer(which may be the one off of the radar). He said the transfer won't make it in for the spring but that the transfer has been set in motion(most likely Brandon Warren). I'm not sure who the other player is that he is referring to(might be Dunlap or Corley). I doubt this will all happen, but he seems confident in his "sources".

Most likely. He has been saying this for months(at least the part about Austin). He has even put up his posting rights in a bet.

Haha... well... if he's right, that will be amazing. UT would probably pass Texas and be the No. 1 recruiting class.

If UT only landed Austin, and that was it for this recruiting class... I still think they'd pass Texas. Austin could probably move an Air Force recruiting class into the top 10, haha.

Yeah, lol, the dude is a freak. Not only a top 10 recruiting class, but a preseason top 25 ranking as well.

A couple things I was wanting to know. I thought that Oklahoma was probably ahead of us for Lennon Creer. Also, what are the chances we get Broyles?

I don't think Broyles is on our board any longer. I don't think OU is leading for Creer. I think we land him unless Texas offers(which is looking more and more like a possibility).

From what I've heard, Tennessee had been the favorite for Creer for a while, but I think Oklahoma has gained ground recently. Also, if Creer gets a scholarship offer from Texas, then he'll be a Longhorn.

I don't know anything about Broyles.

I think OU isn't recruiting Creer as hard because they landed a few RBs last year and are very much in it for the top RB for next class.

Is that from EXVolLinebacker? I have a hard time believing him, for some reason.

hvwarrior, what do you think of ExVolLinebacker? I've only been on rivals a little while. A lot of people think his words carry some weight. I also read his comments about Austin, but I'm not sure what to think.
By the way, it looks like we were seeing the Martin recruitment the same way. Nice job.

I think Austin's recruiting is different. I guess Martin chose us over Ohio State and others partially because we promised him the early start. I don't think it would work for Austin, he can start anywhere. But I would love to land Austin.

M. Austin, an intangiable guy out there for us...
I will believe what Exvol has said since I will sleep better...

I really don't think the reason that Ben Martin is a Tennssee Volunteer is that he was promised an early start.

Hit or miss with Austin, this is a brilliant recruiting class.
