So we can sign at most 32 players in 2009.
25 of these can start in 2009. Place up to 7 in 2009.
We can back sign 5 against 2008.

So at most we can bring in 30 new players to the team in 2009. 25 against 2009 and 5 against 2008.

Toney Williams
Nigel Thorton
Jonathan Hollins
Marlon Walls
Montori Hughes

Those all go against 2008 right? So we can actually sign 27 more. Bring in 25 this year and place 2.

Is this right? This is saying that we have all those scholly's available.

You have 85 scholarships at any given time, you don't have to do any voodoo counting them against previous classes or anything like that.

Actually, I believe you can only award 25 scholarships a year.

So does that mean that Alabama placed 7 players in JUCO last year? b/c they signed 32. Btw did you know T. Cody was rated as a 3* (5.6)?
