I'm glad it is official now

"Nunn, who committed to Tennessee last week, averaged 11.2 points and 10.3 rebounds per game in three seasons at Winthrop. She was an All-Big South preseason selection last fall before missing the season with a broken foot."

she is a definite BOOM

:fireworks::fireworks::fireworks::fireworks::groupwave::baloon::3cheers::welcomec:

she will look great in the Orange and White of the mighty Lady Vols

No matter how difficult this may be, we need to remain positive about this young lady. She had some very good numbers in college, realizing that the competition she played against was not up to upper division D1 standards. I believe that she held her own, in the past, when playing upper division D1 schools. I think she can contribute in a big way if handled correctly by the coaching staff. We need to expect that there will be somewhat of a learning curve, let us hope that she can pick things up quickly.:clapping:

Why should it be difficult to remain positive about Nunn? The LVs were desperate for another post player. She will not be asked to carry the team but just provide some solid minutes when Mercedes needs a rest or is foul trouble etc. Nunn has shown that she can rebound and score even against better comp. She is a good signing and really it's a gift to find an experienced player with decent skills at this point in the recruiting season.

Every thread that's created has a jerk dissing Holly. That is getting very old because she's not going anywhere.

It's teacherdean....he's one of the inconsistent posters on here. One day it's "this team sucks" "Fire Holly"...then next week it's "We should give Holly a break" "We have to support this team!"

Nunn IS a good get because we desperately needed a backup for Russell, somebody with size who can give us some minutes. In her we have that. Will she make Warlick a better coach? Alas, no. There's a positive thought--a flicker of light--and, yea, I admit it, the usual negative that won't go away...

HW has gained much of my respect back. She has finally stamped her HCing mark by changing her staff... She brought in two girls who can aid in the loss of Basha... One that is new and fresh to the game and one that is older and established and will only cost us one year of Scholarship to serve as a hands-on example.

I still have some concerns over not bringing in someone who knows how to handle the dominant players that seem to confuse the group... But there is still time to do that. This can be done without a great expense.

The competition she will face this fall will be upper division D1, but she will also be playing with a very talented group of upper division D1 players. Playing with really good players might make her even better. You should edit your first line from"we", to "I", because "we" don't find this difficult.
