Film is really nice especially if he can add necessary weight to be a TE and keep close to that speed.

Yes bc nobody that was committed to Rutgers can be good. Saquon Barkley and Jonathan Taylor not good at all
Cool story. Two examples. Certainly not outliers right? Clearly the rule 🙄. Look at the TEs we have been recruiting. Were they Rutgers commits? No. We were swinging for much better guys. You are assuming this guy is good because he got an offer from us. Using those two players doesn’t bolster your position. We should be looking to flip better TEs than this. Don’t know why that is bad to say?

Did Arion Carter not end up being a big fish? Every year there are kids that blow up during their senior season that were unknowns in August.
That’s cool and all but why not try and flip a better TE that’s committed to a better program? I mean why not try to go after the TE that’s committed to SC? Or Nebraska? Or Clemson? I know there are guys that blow up but this seems like a backup option.

What if, like Barkley, like Taylor, like Carter, the coaches aren’t evaluating him based on what program he’s currently committed to, and instead are evaluating him based on how they view his ability? What if his ability isn’t affected by which program he’s committed to?

I haven't assumed anything. I'm just saying just because someone is committed to Rutgers doesn't mean they can flip and be good. You dismissed the guy just because he is committed to Rutgers

Well maybe he is a backup option…..they may not want to put all their eggs in the Saleapaga basket.
