Butler seems like he is a reeeeeeeeal scumbag.

I hope Kiff 'n the boys make sure this guy knows his role when Brown comes to Rocky Top.

This guy has a pretty high opinion of himself that's for sure. Probably carries a pry-bar and a jar of vaseline so he get his head through the door.

I wonder what the Creer/Poole/Hardesty opinion of Brown is? I remember Brown saying that he is gonna come in and start.

Hopefully this breeds some really good and HEALTHY competition, and not animosity.

It is much easier to hold a grudge on a team member that starts ahead of you when you know that you are a better athlete. In this system I have no doubt that the best player will start. It might hurt a few feelings, but it beats the alternative.

It may mean something and it may not but, this is why I was very happy to hear about Kiffin and co. bypassing Butler and selling directly to the parents. Less involvement, the better.

I didn't really mean to ask about the PT aspect of it, but rather thier opinion/relationship with Brown as a teammate. I just hope that our team (especially Brown) becomes a family.

(I think the "us against the world" mentality that our staff will likely employ can make it easy to come together)

If Butler tries to leverage any relationship with Bryce to get UT scholarship offers for mediocre Wichita players, Coach O will tear off his legs and beat him with them while Kiffin laughs.

Not defending Butler, but the REAL douchebag in this is Brown's HS coach. Most all of the negative things being said about Butler are based on what this guy "heard".
Also, can you think of any respectable coach that would go out and talk publicly about how bad of a teamate/player one of his player's was? "We were suppossed to have the best player in the country but went 6 and 3". What an idiot. Sounds like he is sour for not being involved more in Brown's fame. Also sounds like he is trying to justify why he couldn't win even though Brown had huge numbers.
And what kind of ball less, pansy football coach would have problems like he claims with Bryce (" Shut down after he got his stats, didn't stretch with teamates, etc") and not either bench the guy or kick him off the team.
Any coach I have known, or any worth their title would have said, "Bryce, you are a great talent, and if you learn to be a team player we certainly could use you on this team NEXT year" as he handed him his locker contents. That is assuming that this is true about Bryce, which I doubt.

Also, does any one else thik it is kind of funny that Lugbill was quoted as saying he had issues with someone charging for info on a recruit, as he was being listed as a contributor for ESPN and scout, both which charge for certain information.?
