We were not lucky enough to get into fanday, but were lucky to be sitting in the northeast end zone where all the former players were standing. Got about 15 signatures on a brand new signature ball. Most of which were previous or soon to be NFL'ers. Was an awesome day.

I had a great time. I enjoyed fan day as well. That Butch Jones line was way long though, lol.

I saw mzterry, but did not speak to her (she had several people talking to her). Saw Coleman Thomas and he was talking to other recruits about coming to UT. Great day for Big Orange Country. Better days are just around the corner.

I had a great experience as well! I got to meet A.J. Johnson and have him sign the base of my latest custom figure. I loved his reaction when he saw it! His linebacker teammates were pretty envious!

If you don't mind me asking, how do you come across the action figures?

That's pretty stinking awesome man. Great work. I tell you what, between you and PeytonBerry, we have some ridiculously creative people on this site.

Thank you! I try my best. It was a great thrill to show off a piece of my work to the actual player. It certainly made my first trip to Neyland a great one!

Got this picture with Big Al before going in at gate 21. Al was just standing there sign autographs and taking photos. Super nice guy. Awesome moment for me and my son.

Yeah, I would imagine A.J. probably flipped out. It is EVERY, and I do mean EVERY boy's dream to have an action figure made of himself.

He did and it was great! I showed him it and he let out a little Ric Flair style "WOOOO!". I can't remember if he said a whole lot after the initial reaction, but I'm just going to believe that it rendered him speechless!

Dang! I wish I would have known he was there and where to meet him. He's probably my all-time favorite Vol and since he played his whole pro career for Denver I love him for that too. I made one of my figures for Leonard Little sometime back and he said he would show Al his and get him in contact with me. I could have slipped him a business card.

Al is one of the nicest dudes you'll ever meet. Signed more autographs than almost all other players combined. He signed all during the game and then again after just outside the main gates.

Al was super nice. Took pictures with a lot of people while I was standing there. Signed autographs for anyone who asked. He asked my son if he was going to play for the Big Orange one day. He took the picture and afterward shook my hand and thanked me. Of course I told him no thank you. Just a great experience for me for one of my favorite Vols.

What was the final score of the game. I saw some crazy scores on twitter but didn't thing they were correct?

the scoring was different. they gave points for first downs, big plays, etc. then defense got points for 3 and outs, turnovers, 12 for a defensive TD, etc. It was 90-something to 70-something, defense won

The offense was winning until Tyler Page threw a pick six to Max Arnold. They explained the scoring, but it was only over the intercom, so it was difficult to understand. Either way, defense dominated the offense pretty well. Only real bright spot in the offense was Cody Blanc and Alden Hill. (whoever thought they'd ever say that?)

We got to the stadium too late to get in for the meet and greet unfortunately. After the game, we took our time leaving the stadium. I took my son and three of his friends and they wanted to climb to the top of the stadium, look around, etc. As we came down the ramp near 21 noticed Tiny talking and signing autographs (didn't know this was the exit from the locker rooms).

VERY appreciative of Tiny (signed and chatted with fans for nearly an hour), Al Wilson, the rest of the players and even recruits/signees (Marquez North, Riley Ferguson, Ryan Jenkins, Lemond Johnson, etc.) for being very gracious and spending quite a bit of time talking to fans, taking pictures, and signing autographs). The boys got to meet a number of players and got quite a few autographs.

Favorite moment was when my son asked coach Azzani where Pig was (one of his current favorites). Azzani said he should be out in a second and then asked my son if he'd do him a favor....give Pig a hard time about running the wrong route on 98 something or other. lol Always time for another teaching moment. Only downside is never did see Pig to get his autograph.
