If we move Campbell to left tackle, who takes the starting spot at right tackle and how does that shift the depth rotation?

Davis would be serviceable on the right side but he can be a liability especially when they invert their pass rusher to the opposite side.

I think I’d just as soon we go back to Johnson starting at left tackle with Heard spelling him occasionally and Davis/Campbell rotating at right tackle.

Larry Johnson Jr. looked pretty good to me, maybe he needs a shot.

Garner is a great coach. He has had a lot of help from Spyre, as has Glen.

Not sure of my point, just to say that is even more an indictment on Ellarbee's lack of coaching AND lack if recruiting success.

We had a good class in '24, and '25 WAS on par to be good. Then we lost UTU to Oregon. Now we're back to taking 3 OL. We need 1, possibly 2.

We lose out on a **** ton of OL recruits.

We’ve seen lots of Head Coaches over the years and not just at UT that have an underperforming best friend on their staff that they refuse to fire unless the Athletic Director does it by threatening the Head Coach with his job if staff changes aren’t made.

He and Dayne Davis have both faired pretty well in very limited snaps. We do not know how they will hold up over the course of an entire game but it would be hard to be worse than what Heard is putting out there.
