How can people keep saying o-line is a strength of our team? Total let down from a group of upperclassmen. If they are only 3/4 as good as people keep saying we should at least be able to run the ball on most teams.

This is basic football knowledge. We cannot complete intermediate level passes and let alone deep passes on a consistent basis. Therefor we cannot run . The defenses of all of these ranked teams that we are playing are attacking our run gaps without regard for the intermediate passing game.

If it were as simple as just lining up and running ...nobody would pass. Virtually every college or NFL team strives for balance ..because successful balance make the defense play balanced .

When we get to the point that we can pass ( we should be able to with the D so committed to the run ) we will be able to run.

When was the last time UT had a 1000 yd rusher in a season? If they were half as good as the "experts" say....then Mizzoo's QB wouldn't have more rushing yards than Tennessee all by himself. Let Tiny go pro early, wouldn't hurt my fealings at all.
